White Lick Creek flows through Hummel Park, providing a beautiful, scenic atmosphere. The east side of the park offers a variety of sports venues, including basketball courts, volleyball courts, baseball and softball diamonds, soccer field and disc golf. Spanning over the creek, a 300-foot wooden bridge connects the athletic east side to the enriching west side, which features miles of nature trails, five fishing lakes and the Hummel Park Performing Arts Center.
Also featured at Hummel Park near Indianapolis is the 2010 Hummel Park Summer Concert Series, which offers a family-friendly variety of musical entertainment from some of the best musical talent in Indiana. Children ages 10 & under are admitted free to all concerts.
