The Indianapolis Circle City Classic helps provide opportunities for youth by supporting educational achievement and promoting cultural excellence. Since 1984, the Circle City Classic has evolved from just a football game to a well-recognized and respected organization, showcasing the spirit, energy and tradition of historic African-American colleges and universities. Net proceeds from the Classic help fund scholarships and youth initiatives with over 1 million dollars already being awarded to deserving Indiana natives who pursue higher education.
Rev. Charles William's vision to create one of the most impressive African American events in the country has become a reality through the mass efforts of Circle City Classic. Year round workshops and scholarship programs are designed to enhance the mental and physical development of our youth including College Readiness Workshops, Challenge of Champions, Miss Circle City Classic Coronation, Classic Youth Football and Cheerleading Clinic.
